A78C is a slightly stiffer Toray nylon main line. Straight-line strength and elasticity are balanced for high-activity fishing, snatching fish, and commercial-pond work. A higher-melting nylon grade reduces heat damage when sliding float stops. Low stretch and fast water-cut; also used for sliding-float and shore-sliding setups.
